Supplement to the National Classification of Activities (NCA Rev.2.1): Key Updates and Insights

The Government of North Macedonia has adopted a supplement to the National Classification of Activities (NCA Rev.2.1), a significant update aimed at modernizing activity classification standards. Published in the Official Gazette No. 35 on February 14, 2024, the changes will officially take effect on January 1, 2025, impacting the operations of businesses and legal entities across the country.

• Registration of new legal entities -Entrepreneurs registering new companies in the Central Registry must now select and submit priority activity codes aligned with NCA Rev.2.1.
• Updating activities for existing entities – Businesses that are permitted to modify their activity codes must comply with the new classification when applying for changes.
• Annual financial statements – Submission of annual accounts will require the inclusion of the main income code as per NCA Rev.2.1 guidelines.

• Упис на новоосновани субјекти: При поднесување пријави за упис на основање на правни субјекти, подносителите ќе можат да изберат и внесат шифра на приоритетна дејност во согласност со НКД Рев.2.1.
• Промени кај постоечки субјекти: За правните субјекти кај кои е дозволена промена на дејноста, при поднесување на пријави за промена ќе биде задолжително користење на шифрите од дополнетата класификација.
• Годишни сметки: Подносителите на годишни сметки ќе треба да ја внесат главната приходна шифра согласно новата дополнета класификација.
